I started out with a background in photography in my 20's. Following a decade long hiatus I fell back into it when my partner and I took on a bustling hospitality business, where I managed the social media and marketing. My professional development and passion as a food photographer really took off when we further acquired a small fine dining restaurant. When I saw the food that was coming out of the kitchen I was determined to do these exquisite dishes justice and show them to the world.

 

Capturing the very talented chefs' incredible food was both a joy and obsession. I was soon approached by other businesses and design teams within the Northern Rivers/ Byron Bay area to capture visual content. From there I further developed my skills set, broadening my services to include product photography and styling. I also managed to pop a few feathers in my cap along the way, bagging 7 Foodelia International Food Photography awards.

In recent years I've relocated to the beautiful Yarra Valley just outside Melbourne. I love working with brands, producers and restaurants to communicate the best of what they do through beautiful imagery. Being a business owner/ operator myself is a huge asset, as I can really tune into the clients' needs.
